You were a popular model and dancer when the scene was in its heyday, having multiple gigs each weekend and several on weeknights. Your GeoCities was the hottest thing on Al Gore’s internet. But now, you’re tired and barely getting by. All of the botox and concealer can’t cover up decades of night shifts and rude, under-tipping customers, so why even fucking bother with that bullshit. Nowadays, you serve as the bartender at BOOB’s secret haven, the Red Rabbit Pub, and have your finger on the pulse of the hottest gossip on both the day and night side of things. You don’t really give a shit if people know your real name (which, yes, is actually Crystal, thank you very much.) You don’t give a shit about if people know about your personal life or your past. Heck, your tits looked great in all those pictures from TITS’ golden days! Not having to worry about all of that “secret identity” drama made you an early advocate for the Ronin, even in the TITS days, and you naturally gravitated towards BOOB when TITS fell because of that. You’ve been the Elder Ronin for a while, and it feels natural to be taking care of their concerns on the Council, you know some other people are interested in that position. Will you be able to keep your hold on your Elder position, and is it even worth the effort?

Do I look like I give a fuck? Any attempt to coerce or threaten you under threat of revealing any secrets or using blackmail against you immediately fails, whether using powers or social roleplay. You can also use this power to shield others who are targeted by blackmail.

DARK MACHINATIONS
• Either maintain your role as Elder Ronin, find a worthy successor, or successfully get a second Elder Ronin recognized
• Don’t let Belladonna get elected Fang-Keeper. She’ll be a gatekeeping tyrant who will treat this more like an Instagram photoshoot than anything else
• Tread carefully with the Alpha Wolf- support the Wolf-kin, but push back against them getting recognized as their own House… unless you get a second Elder Ronin on the Council
• Or encourage Atalune to push to be a second Elder Ronin, that way they get representation, but the whole pack they’d bring with them won’t become a massive new voting bloc. They’re always welcome to join as Ronin! There’s nothing wrong with being Ronin.
• Convince some of the current Ronin Fledglings who are trying to create new Houses that joining or running a House isn’t worth it

Sir Nocturnus
You two definitely ended your relationship on a harsh note years ago, and as the years have gone on, Sir Nocturnus has only become more pompous. He talked some shit about Ronin and always has felt like members of his dumb little inner circle are better than everyone else… but you still know that he really does think that is all for the good of the Court and the Vampyre Community as a whole.
Atalune
Your feelings on Atalune and the wolves are complicated… you feel a certain kinship with them, due to the Wolves being outcasts like you and the Ronin, and like having them counted among the Ronin and them being part of your groupless group. But… you kind of worry about what would happen if Aylin Pack is voted as being recognized as equal to a House, with Aylin as their Elder. If people want to join a House or Pack or whatever, that’s on them, that’s not your business. But more House Elders on the Council could make it harder for you and the other Ronin to be heard- one of the issues that led to Asmodeus starting BOOB and splitting from BUNS all those years ago. Plus, you’d be sad to have them leave your Ronin family.
Cerberus
You used to be Fang-Keeper, but stepped down due to not really having that kind of bouncer energy physically in you, and Nocturnus’ Chylde, Cerberus, won the vote for the position. Despite things being tense between you and Nocturnus, things aren’t super awkward between you and Cerb. Though there have been times that you tried to get people kicked out for being too loud, too messy, just plain obnoxious, and Cerberus not fucking doing anything, sometimes because they’re their friends who are the worst of the rabble, notably Ghostbones and Pazuzu. They usually kick people out if there’s a major issue, but don’t really bother trying to filter out new members or visitors, who usually are the ones who end up being annoying for everyone else around.
Belladonna
While Cerberus doesn’t do enough as Fang-Keeper, you know that Belladonna would do wayyyyy too much. You know she has it out for you in particular, thinking that you don’t dress fancy enough to attend. She’s made a ton of passive-aggressive comments during Council meetings, and when you’ve confronted her about them, she’s denied that her comments about “some members being too casual and not adhering to our First Sacred Tenet” were about “multiple people, in general, nobody in particular.” You’d take Cerberus as Fang-Keeper over her any day. Also, as somebody who fucked around with Botox for years, you know she’s clearly had it. It’s not some supernatural miracle, she isn't the magical undying queen she pretends to be. She's just a lady wasting money trying too hard to look half her age, only succeeding in freezing her eyebrow movement, not her years.
Morrigan
Morrigan has seen some shit, and knows exactly how bad House systems can be, having left BUNS after some major drama regarding their old House’s leadership falling apart. It kind of makes you uncomfortable how anti-Wolf they are, though. You’ve always felt that the Wolves fit in well with you and the other Ronin, as you’re all outcasts from the system of Houses or Clans.
DJ Evan Exorcist
Ugh, this asshole. It’s clear as day that he’s just here to treat this as speed dating and a way to get people to listen to his tacky DJ Twitch Stream. Both Rayven and Ravyn deserve better.
Rayven and Ravyn
You always find yourself mediating fights between these two. They remind you of how you used to be, picking petty fights over some dude. You’ve managed to stay neutral between the two of them, and both of them have told you they want to start their own House. You worry that if either of them stops being Ronin, House membership will become one more way they can attack each other. Luckily, they’d need to recruit people into Houses, and the Council would have to agree to recognize any House they would form, so this isn’t a huge concern for you. They’ll still be your Ronin at the end of the night.
Nyx
Nyx is newer here and clearly needs some sort of mentorship. They remind you a bit of how you used to be, taking on a lot of responsibility before you were ready for it, burning out in the process. You know they’re looking to become the new Fledgling Primogen and unseat Salem, and they’d probably do a great job, especially since Salem can be a bit polarizing.
Blade
Another promising young Fledgling, full of potential. Though you feel they’re hiding something from you, and can’t quite figure out what. They seem a bit intimidated by you… but so far, they seem pretty enthusiastic and friendly. You could see them making an excellent Fledgling Primogen.
Carmilla
Can’t she just let this whole “sanguine vs psychic” vampire feud die already?! We’re all fucking weirdos here, and she’s trying to silo herself off in her own special blood-tower.
Pazuzu
Pazuzu is harmless, but irritating, like an annoying little brother for the whole community. They’re not breaking any rules, but ugh, you sometimes wish you could boot them for being so loud and edgy.
Lestat
Speaking of loud, Lestat Crowe seems to be quite a diva, enough to rival any of the Von Toreadors. It’s clear as day that they have no clue what’s going on or what they’re doing, and you just wish they would admit it instead of overcompensating. Everyone’s a Fledgling at some point!
Ghostbones
Ghostbones: You agree with Ghostbones in theory, that the Houses have done more harm than good, but being an Elder, being their Elder, their anti-Elder ranting is getting old. You get where they’re coming from, and when you were new to the scene, you dealt with so many pompous Elders who treated everyone like shit. You want to believe you’re better than that. That you’re not just an Elder, you’re the cool Elder. Maybe you can get Ghostbones to realize that, that you’re on their side?
