About Me:

Occupy the Vampyre Scene! No Elders, no Houses, no hierarchies! Take back our power that is rightfully ours, as we all are rulers of the night as vampyres! Cast off the shackles of your House system and be a free Ronin! These Elders can stuff it with their boring old ways and snooty elitism. You used to be part of BUNS ages ago, and saw how dysfunctional and controlling and cliquey Houses and Clans can be. As a movement, as a society, we need to move beyond that! You’re still a BOOB member, but are on thin ice with Old Fart Nocturnus gunning for you. You know that the dirt you have on his Chylde, who also is the designated gatekeeper (fang-keeper, technically) is the only reason why you’ve not been booted yet- Cerberus is dating Atalune, the Alpha Wolf, and Nocturnus would never approve. You also know that if you sold out and got onto the Council, your place would be safe here and you could push for better Ronin and Fledgling rights, and could totally take down the system from the inside.
Note, this character is inspired by an actual poster that somebody seriously, unironically made as part of the actual “Real Vampyre Community” in the late 00s/early ‘10s. I can’t make this up. This is not created as LARP or parody content. You can view the poster here.

Power: Okay Boomer. If an Elder accuses you or one of your allies of being a Poser, you can call them out-of-touch as a response, and negate the accusation of poser-ness.

DARK MACHINATIONS

• Sway as many people as possible to your philosophy of anarcho-vampyrism
• Avoid pissing anyone off bad enough that you end up getting banished
• Keep Cerberus as Fang-Keeper... And avoid letting it slip to the wrong people that Cerberus is dating Atalune, since you know that’s some good leverage you have over Cerberus
• Especially tread carefully around Sir Nocturnus. Scarlette, your Ronin Elder, has had your back in the past when you’ve rolled your eyes at him, but you know that if you openly mouth off to him, you might get booted
• Possibly try and get on the council, as Fledgling Primogen, even though that’s selling out against everything you believe in… you know it’s your best shot at getting shit done around here
• Push for the wolf pack to be accepted, if there has to be a House system, they should be part of it, you figure

Cerberus
You caught Cerberus and Atalune leaving a bathroom together at the club a few months ago. They thought the fog machine would give them enough cover to sneak off together, but then somebody clogged the other toilet and you were waiting by the door to go in… and the two of them came out, and were shocked to see you and looked very ashamed. Cerberus, as Fang-Keeper, could banish you at any time. But ever since you found this juicy bit out, you know they don’t want to risk it getting out. Especially if their Sire, their Elder, who is super anti-wolf finds out! The whole Fang-Keeper thing is bullshit anyway. They’re just here to enforce those oppressive, archaic rules and gatekeep people.

Atalune
You dig the wolves, and Atalune seems like good people. They’re raw, they’re real, they’re honest, and you respect the fuck outta that. While Vampyres rule the night, the Wolves run the night, working not below you, but alongside you, as comrades against the mundanes of the world!

Carmilla
You’re tired of her being Fledgling Primogen and know you’d do better… and you’re tired of her always acting like she’s so much better than everyone else because she’s a “medical sanguinarian” and not just a “vampyre” like the rest of you. Ugh. Somebody has to knock her off her high horse.

Adonis
Black Swans have the true power in the community- without their blood, you would all wither and fade! When you were feeding last month, Adonis mentioned that they were considering joining a House, and you have to talk them out of that mistake.

Pazuzu
You and Pazuzu are Ronin buddies, but you feel like they don’t take this community seriously enough sometimes.
