A virtual throwback set in 2009
This is Not a Vampire LARP: Online 2009 is a virtual adaptation of the LARP of the same name, now set in the era of Twilight and Slipknot, played entirely via web forums. We're bringing back the nostalgia of the early 2000s web space and the heyday of the vampire-goth community! If you miss the days of cringey asterisk roleplay, MySpace, and VampireFreaks, it's time to sink your plastic fangs into this.

A game about humans who think they are vampires
You are a human being. You live in a suburban house and have a boring day job. But by night, a new side of you awakens. Or at least that's what you, members of the Bridgeport Order of Blood (BOOB), tell each other. You are a member of New England's third-largest Real Vampyre Society. You are navigating this spoooooooky, bloody night-side community of goths, fighting each other for clout, recognition, and a place on the Vampyric Council.
BOOB has recently moved to having their gatherings mostly online, due to too many members moving away from the original Bridgeport area. Bob, aka Asmodeus Abyss, The High Magister who leads the Vampyric Council and Court as a whole, has decided that the web forum meetings are the young folks' business, and that it's time for somebody else to lead in this dark era. There also is a long-standing rivalry against Bridgeport Underground Nocturnal Society (BUNS), slowly simmering just below the threshold of an all-out vampyre cyber-war.
Tonight, you chat, post, feed, and vote on a new Vampyric Council. What will the night bring for these edgy netizens?
